Breaking Ground in Traboch | Austria

The opening of the construction site in Traboch was celebrated on July 2, 2019 and another milestone was set in the history of the AIHAI Group. The fundamental partnership with STRABAG made a significant contribution to smooth handling. Read more.

AIHAI Minerals Europe GmbH is another milestone in the history of the AIHAI Group and an important step on the way to the top of the global talk market. The foundation for the AIHAI partnership with STRABAG was laid three years ago through initial discussions. In July, the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the plant in Traboch took place. A considerable delegation from the Far East, representatives from politics and business, project participants, pioneers and friends were ready for the proudly celebrated site opening on July 2nd, 2019.

Mona Qi, CEO of Liaoning AIHAI and AIHAI European manager Linda Li hope that Austria will bring great growth and significant further development to the group.
Gao Xingle, Chinese Counselor for Economy and Trade, was also present at the opening and emphasized the good economic relations between China and Austria. With a volume of 13 billion euros, China is Austria’s fifth largest trading partner.

Aihai Minerals Europe GmbH made a huge step towards progress, modernisation and prosperity through building a new talc-mill in Traboch. The plant is equipped with cutting-edge technology to meet the demand of its European customers which are supplied from Traboch.
